Money-Saving Academic and Career Pathways

CONCORD “ In an effort to support N.H. families with academic and career pathways, Â鶹´«Ã½ “ Concord™s Community College is pleased to announce our new Â鶹´«Ã½ Transfer Academy. This new Transfer Academy offers students a clear path from high school to Â鶹´«Ã½ to UNH.

Â鶹´«Ã½ is thrilled to be partnering with UNH to offer pathways that allow students to smoothlyÌý. Starting as early as sophomore or junior year in high school, students can take courses that, once applied to their Â鶹´«Ã½ education, may also transfer to theirÌýbachelor™s degree at UNH.^Ìý By earning Â鶹´«Ã½ credits while in high school, students can explore their college options before making an expensive commitment to a 4-year college. Savings can amount to thousands of dollars.

Students can earn Â鶹´«Ã½ credit two ways: Running Start is a dual credit program that gives N.H. high school students the opportunity to take Â鶹´«Ã½-approved courses at their high school while earning high school and college credit simultaneously; Early College is a program where N.H. high school students can take Â鶹´«Ã½ courses on our campus at a 50% discounted tuition rate. College credit is earned at Â鶹´«Ã½ and may be transferred to other institutions. For a full list of eligible courses offered by your high school, contact your school guidance counselor.

Â鶹´«Ã½ also has transfer and articulation agreementsÌýwith many other 4-year colleges and universities. We™ve entered into a number of these agreements to enable students to transfer seamlessly into bachelor™s degree programs at both public and private institutions.

Transfer students do better at 4-year colleges than students who enroll there as freshmen and Â鶹´«Ã½™s Transfer Academy puts students on pathways to academic success.
